INVERSE was born as CIRO SPORT in 1969 in Barcelona, Spain.

Its founder, Joaquim Sabaté i Dausá, had very strong links with sports, especially cycling, presiding over "Esport Ciclista Barcelona". During his presidency more than 900 cycling races have been organized.
